The monsoon season is approaching. Heavy rain, floods and mosquito breeding are likely in the Kalmunai area. Please do the following:
Keep drinking water boiled and stored in clean, covered containers.
Clear water-collecting places around your home so mosquitoes cannot breed.
Avoid wading through flood water, and wash your hands and feet well afterwards.
If you have fever, diarrhoea, vomiting or skin infections, see a doctor immediately.
